Contemplative
masters of the art of unarmed combat are relatively common within prrex
society. Monks work closely with the spiritualist priests to teach others
and help by testing their abilities against challenges.
Prrexi
who wish to gain more mastery of unarmed combat often multiclass as
fighter/monks. This gives an excellent progression of special feats
and fighting ability. Those who wish a more spiritual path remain single-classed
monks or spiritualist/monks.
Note that
the prrex natural Weapon Finesse feat applies to unarmed combat styles
learned by the monk. This allows them to take advantage of their higher
dexterity scores and compensate for their lower strength, when compared
to other races.
