The Republic of Kyriabor

Until its destruction in the Second War of Falling Stars, Kyriabor was the jewel of Jaastenland. It boasted abundant natural resources, a diverse population, broad freedoms, a strong economy, and a rich heritage in philosophy and magic. From its early history as a Landish colony to its birth as a nation in a popular revolution, Kyriabor was always regarded as a land of great promise.
Kyriabor was born of the civil war of old Vegas, when the Kykes
and Supers broke the country apart and local states seceded from the
Vegas union and claimed neutrality. Founded by the Kyke faction in
398vS (LY 1756), Kyriabor was a progressive land, aided by the University
of Elantra's technological advances and magical studies. Its growth
was hampered only by Kzinti hostility and its distance from many trade
routes.
