Amazonia is a powerful monarchy halfway around the world from the Four Kingdoms. In Amazon society, women are recognized as socially superior to men. By nature, men have greater physical strength and are often better suited to hand to hand combat than women. However, they cannot truly know what it is to give life—only take it. Because they cannot develop this empathy—which Amazonians consider crucial for governing a nation—Amazonia considers men generally unsuited for high leadership positions.

At the heart of Queen Sally's Amazonian ideal is an ethic of duty and honorable service. All young Amazonian women must serve for two years in the military forces of the nation. Until this service is completed, a woman may not bear children. While most women leave the service after their terms, some find the life to their taste. These women join the ruling warrior class. The most elite women advance into a two-tiered sorority of professional warriors known simply as "the Amazons." The first rank in this group is the Amazon Warrior. Those who do well in this role qualify for the advanced standing of Amazon Knight, who make up the truly powerful and influential leaders of Amazon society.

Many amazon warriors have the opportunity to prove themselves in battle. When they prove themselves to be superb leaders, as well as warriors, they are knighted in recognition of these accomplishments. Amazon knights receive the most prestigous assignments and the most dangerous. They are truly exemplars of the Amazon ideal.

Amazon Warrior class skills: Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Diplomacy (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (any) (Int), Navigate (Int), Pilot (Dex), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), Swim (Str), Use Device (Int).

Skill points gained per level: 2 + Int mod.

Class Requirements

• Base Attack Bonus +8.
• Leadership Potential: Charisma bonus of +1 or better.
• Athletic Skills: Climb (4 ranks), Jump (4 ranks), Knowledge (war) (10 ranks).
• Feats: Dodge, Iron Will, Leadership, Lightning Reflexes, Mobility, Spring Attack, Weapon Focus (any sword), Technical Proficiency.
• Special: This class is only open to female characters.

Class Features

• Improved Amazon Girding: Amazon knights receive upgraded Amazon Girding armor. All knights receive enchanted combat armor of +2 or better enhancement. Most wear +2 amazon girding that is light armor and allows the knight to cast fly (on herself only) once per day. This has the following statistics: Armor bonus +11 (+9 armor, +2 enhancement bonus), Max Dex +8, Armor Check Penalty -1, Spell Failure 15%, move 30, weight 15 lb., Caster Level 5. This armor and enchantment would have a market price of 25,000 gp.
• Code of Conduct: Knights must uphold the rights of women, act with honor, help those who need help, and punish those who threaten or harm innocents. They also strive to remain free of such flaws as selfishness, greed, callousness, jealousy, and laziness. The code also requires that an amazon knight strive to avoid unnecessary violence, whenever possible. Amazons will always aid a member of the Sorority, unless service to Country or Queen commands otherwise.
• Precise Strike: (Ex) You learn the techniques of a quick, in-and-out fighting style. When you move at least 10 feet to attack and are not hit by any attacks of opportunity thus provoked (if any), you gain a competence bonus of +1d6 to damage. You may not charge and use this ability, as charging uses a speed and recklessness incompatible with fine accuracy. This bonus increases by an additional +1d6 every third level after the first. You may combine this precise strike with a Spring Attack. The bonus damage stacks with bonus dice gained from other classes abilities, such as sneak attack or precise strike from the Amazon Warrior or duelist prestige classes.
• Diana's Blessing: As a full attack action, you may call upon the guidance of Diana the Huntress and invoke a true strike effect as you strike once with your melee or ranged weapon. You gain the +20 attack bonus, negation of concealment, and all other effects as the spell. You may invoke Diana's blessing once per day at 2nd level, and you gain the power to do so an additional time each day at each even numbered level beyond 2nd. You may also apply the effects of this blessing to vehicle-mounted weapons, as applicable.

Ranged Precise Strike: You may apply your precise strike damage bonus to ranged attacks as a full attack action. The damage bonus applies to targets within only the first range increment of the weapon.

Evasion: You gain the Evasion class ability of the rogue and monk.

Improved Evasion : You gain the Improved Evasion class ability of the monk.
