  • New Year's Day - 1 Deluge - Secular observance of the first day of the calendar year. Occurs during the Midwinter Festival. Minor holiday that happens to fall during a major religious holiday period.
  • Women's Day - 18 Deluge (Ishan) - A celebration of the essential qualities of the female sex. Also serves as Mother's Day in the Four Kingdoms and Lebensbrüke.
  • St. Shalven's Day - 19 Deluge (Ishan) - Remembrance of the Komatsine saint who first discovered how to channel positive energy to turn and destroy undead. The day is considered a celebration of life.
  • Awakening - 1 Mist (Dianic) - Dianic celebration of the awakening of magic in women by the grace of the goddess. Not widely recognized or known.
  • The Prophet's Birthday - 7 Mist (Ishan) - The birthday of Rrkia-Friday, Prophet of Ishan.
  • Landing Day - 13 Mist (Landers) - Remembrance of the arrival of humanity on Saltwave and the founding of human settlement.
  • King's Holiday - 16 Mist (Lebensbrüke) - Sir Drake's Birthday.
  • Naming Day - 22 Mist (Ishan) - The day babies who have survived the winter are given names. Also a day of recognition for kzinti who have earned names over the past year.
  • Spring Festival - 1 Greening (Komatsine) - Minor celebration harkening the coming of spring.
  • Dawnbreak Festival - 4-5 Greening (Druidic)- Religious celebration of the departure of the frost. Held by convention on these dates but observed on the first day in each grove without morning frost.
  • Planting Festival - 16-18 Greening (Druidic, Dianic) - Religious celebration of the Spring Equinox and thanksgiving for the planting. Blessings for fertility and abundance are given during the ceremonies. Vigils of knighthood are held at each solstice and equinox. Also a major Dianic festival.
  • Independence Day - 1 Growing (Lebensbrüke) - Commemoration of the Declaration of Independence of Lebensbrüke from Smeisserand in LY 2143.
  • Tarnia Day - 8 Flowers - Commemoration of the founding of Tarnia by Killian Grey in LY 2138.
  • St. Anna's Day - 11 Flowers (Ishan) - Remembrance of the saint of healing and peace who gave her life in LY 1827 to stop a virulent plague by powering a healing spell that could stop the spread of the magical disease.
  • Midsummer Night - 32 Flowers (Druidic, Dianic)- Religious celebration of the longest night of the year. Vows of the nobility and oaths or service are renewed during this ceremony. Also a major Dianic festival, known as "The Hunt."
  • Midsummer Festival - 1-2 Heat - Celebration of high summer.
  • St. Ranjo's Day - 3 Heat (Ishan) - Remembrance of the paladin saint who defeated and threw down the evil sorcer-king Shannastone. The day is considered a celebration of freedom.
  • Queen's Holiday - 10 Heat (Lebensbrüke) - Queen Anissette's birthday.
  • Moonwakening - 25 Heat (Ishan) - Remembrance of the day the moon appeared in the sky over Saltwave. Considered to be a day of remembrance that evil can come from nowhere to threaten peace.
  • Memorial Day - 28 Heat - Remembrance of victims of the War of Falling Stars and those fallen in battle.
  • Plague Day - 1 Glow - Remembrance of the Red Plague. Frequently features religious sermons against tampering with the balance of nature.
  • St. Marshall's Day - 7 Glow (Ishan) - Remembrance of the birthday of the great paladin saint, Marshall Daen, who first made a lasting peace between humans and kzinti in LY 2133.
  • Unfurling - 9 Glow - Annual elven celebration of children and new life.
  • Spiritwaking - 9 Glow (Ishan) - Religious celebration of the day the Prophet Rrkia-Friday received the divine message.
  • Remembrances - 25 Glow (Komatsine) - Remembrances of all the saints and heroes of days past. Also celebrated by many Ishan followers.
  • Warmwane - 16-18 Colors (Druidic, Dianic) - Religious celebration of the Autumnal Equinox. Also a major Dianic festival.
  • Hartal - 15 Harvest (Komatsine) - Remembrance of the strength of heart held by Komatsu when assailed by evil spirits and the gift of magic given to him by God.
  • Frosteven - 22 Harvest - (Druidic) Religious observance of the first frost. Held by convention on this date but observed on the first day of morning frost in each local druiduc grove.
  • Harvest Festival - 1-3 Frost (All Faiths) - Religous celebration of the harvest and thanksgiving.
  • St. Martique's Day - 4 Frost (Ishan) - Remembrance of the Komatsine saint who brought ethics to arcane magical study and helped the weak against evil wizards and sorcerers. Commonly understood as an admonishment against seeking too much power.
  • Midwinter Festival - 31 Frost-2 Deluge (Druidic, Dianic) - Religious observance of the longest night of the year and the turning of the cycle of the sun.
  • Spiritrise/Midwinter - 32 Frost (Ishan) - Regarded as the night when spirits are most active and evil closest to humanity.
